Stiffen the Night Sky Ord., The Criminals need the work

The Desert Trail reports that the, "The Twentynine Palms Planning Commission will review the Night Sky Lighting Ordinance when it meets at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4.

In 2005 the city of Twentynine Palms adopted new lighting standards to preserve the night sky."

 Other than starting a cottage industry for the amateur astronomers in town, the only thing the Night Sky Ordinance has seemed to elevate is the Crime Rate.
